ARC FLASH
LEVEL 3

The NFPA 70E standard designates the level of personal protective equipment that is required for different levels of arc flash hazards. Higher PPE category numbers indicate additional protective gear is needed with Level 4 requiring the most. The Arc Flash PPE Category levels have been established based on the estimated level of energy in the arc flash hazard.
