Electrical arcs emit extremely high intensity light across a wide spectrum that can damage the delicate structures of the eyes, such as the cornea and/or the retina. The Swordfish® BH10616AF has been rated to prevent serious eye injury due to arc exposure at 4.9 Cal/cm2.
